The Elephant-Human Relations Aid works to restore and protect both the desert elephants and the people in the area. A two-week program, the first week is spent building a wall or other protection from the elephants, while the second week is spent observing elephants and other desert goings-on :D

Possible Destination: Melon Community Mission

In Nakuru, Kenya, Melon Chosen Community serves the orphaned and destitute every day. The photo above, taken from their Facebook page, shows kids at the Christmas party enjoying a rare treat of soda and sliced bread. Volunteers get to play with the kids, assist with programs, food preparation, etc.
