Hello, thanks for visiting the Rags to Africa blog!
My name is Julie, I'm a college student from Ohio. I will graduate with a BA in September, but before I make any big life decisions, my passion is to spend time in Africa. I hope to leave the U.S in January 2013 to volunteer for as long as I can afford to.
I haven't made any concrete decisions regarding what programs I want to become involved with, but the list of those I'm interested in is long. I will be posting some of my favorites on this blog.
To fundraise, I'm trying to create unique, practical, and low-cost items to purchase. Everything I make has little to no start-up cost (which I cover myself), so anything you donate goes 100% to the cost of volunteering!
